The sling bag is 30" from top of shoulder strap to bottom of bag, and 12" wide. The opening hangs down about 19" from the top of the shoulder strap. There is not a zip closure for main compartment, it closes with a tie-knot. There is an interior zip pocket that is about 6" by 6". The interior is a nice thick black cotton fabric.
